Program

Day 0: We will start welcoming people on August 16, to start getting to know each other and share a common dinner.

Day 1: The participants will give short, 15-min presentations: about 7 min to present themselves (which field/subfield they are working in, their orientation between pure theoretical, numerical, closer to experiments, etc.), their latest achievement and the methods they used; and the rest to present the paper and the research problem they want to discuss.

Day 2-4: Group sessions: the participant will separate into small groups to work in half-day sessions devoted to one problem. Each half-day will include an in-depth mini-lecture about the problem (1h-1h30), reading of the papers, and discussion. On each half-day, we will organize 3-4 sessions in parallel, so each participant can take part in 4-5 groups at most. The goal of this session will be to get a better grasp of the research questions and refine them more precisely. At the end of the period, the people will decide which problems they really want to work on.

Day 5: Break

Day 6-9: People will now organize in the small groups defined in the first half of the workshop, and start working intensively on the problems!

Day 10: Wrap-up: each group will present the progresses they made, the early results, the problems they encountered; it will also be time to discuss the perspectives for the future of the conference, and future collaborations.
