Other activities

L'Effervescence will take place in a cosy family home, in the heart of the Champagne production region. It couples a dense, intensive scientific program with a relaxing environment. The river and vineyards surrounding the house offer the perfect opportunity to take a stroll along after a hard day of scientific work; and the house is equipped with a swimming pool, to cool our head off after going into overgear for several hours in a row!

We will also organize various non-mandatory activities on evenings during the week, such as debating, visit of local wine-makers, discussion about the structure of the scientific system, etc..,.  Furthermore, we will take a break day after the first half of the workshop, in which we will organize a trip to the beautiful city of Reims.
